Your contract for orthodontic services

Dr. Ellis is a firm believer in price transparency. Your orthodontic contract is comprehensive; there are no hidden fees or undisclosed future charges - it includes your orthodontic treatment as well as your retainers.  

Dr. Ellis works to ensure that her fees are competitive, fair, and reflect the lifelong value of orthodontic treatment. Orthodontic fees are determined by the complexity and duration of care required.    

Flexible Payment Options

It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget.  

Your contract can be structured so that the cost of orthodontic treatment is paid over time, instead of all at once. If you elect this option, a down payment will be required on the day that orthodontic treatment begins and monthly payments will follow over the course of care. Payment in full at the start of treatment is also accepted. 

Dr. Ellis works to ensure that her fees are competitive, fair, and reflect the lifelong value of orthodontic treatment. We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Our office accepts payment by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.  

Friendly Insurance Policy

Ellis Orthodontics accepts most insurance policies.  

Many dental insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. If your dental insurance provides a collectible orthodontic benefit, the benefit amount will be deducted from the orthodontic fee and sent directly to your insurer for payment. Dental insurance must remain active during the course of your contract. If your insurance benefits change during orthodontic treatment, you will be responsible for all remaining uncollected insurance charges.

Ellis Orthodontics will submit your insurance claim forms to your carrier as a courtesy to you.  

In-Network Participation

Dr. Ellis is in-network for Delta Dental Premier and most Cigna policy holders. She accepts most other insurance policies as an out-of-network provider.

Medicaid

While Dr. Ellis does not accept Medicaid, she does offer her patients with active Medicaid status special consideration for reduced orthodontic costs, particularly for patients exhibiting severe or complex orthodontic problems.

Discounts

Ellis Orthodontics offers discounts for additional family members undergoing orthodontic treatment, families in which the main breadwinner is clergy or a community helper (teachers, police, firefighters), and for payment in full at the beginning of treatment.
