At Ellis Orthodontics, our mission is simple: to help people smile with confidence through ethical, personalized, and expert orthodontic care. We’re proud to be a locally owned and operated private practice serving families in Lakewood, Lake Highlands, Highland Park, Casa Linda, and surrounding Dallas neighborhoods.
Founded by Dr. Christine P. Ellis, a board-certified orthodontist and long-time Dallas resident, Ellis Orthodontics opened its doors in August 2015. Before establishing the practice, Dr. Ellis spent 15 years on faculty at UTSW and practiced alongside her father, bringing decades of experience to the community. Since opening, we’ve grown into a trusted part of the neighborhood — known for our compassionate team, state-of-the-art treatments, and laid-back yet professional approach.
Meet Dr. Christine Ellis
Dr. Ellis is the heart of the practice. She earned her B.A. in Biology from Southern Methodist University, her DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry, and completed her orthodontic specialty training and MSD at St. Louis University. As a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Ellis holds herself to the highest standards in clinical care and continues to stay active in her field through memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Society of Orthodontics.
But what truly sets Dr. Ellis apart is how she connects with people. Patients often say they feel heard, cared for, and informed throughout every step of treatment — and that’s no accident. Dr. Ellis values kindness, patience, optimism, and doing what’s right, and she’s built a practice that reflects those same values.
When she’s away from the office, Dr. Ellis loves biking around White Rock Lake, spending time with her husband, Brooks, and staying active in their Lakewood community. Her children, now in college, attended St. John’s Episcopal School and Bishop Lynch High School.
Our Practice Today
Since 2015, Ellis Orthodontics has been proud to offer leading-edge care in a welcoming, down-to-earth environment. With a dedicated team of six staff members, we treat children, teens, and adults using modern tools and techniques — including Spark™ Clear Aligners, Damon™ Braces, Forsus appliances, and surgical orthodontic coordination when needed.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. We take the time to listen, learn, and build custom plans that suit each smile and lifestyle. From your first consultation to the day you get your retainer, we’re with you every step of the way.
